About the Candidate

Chris Ardery has been a resident of Nicholasville for over 15 years. Chris and his wife have chosen Nicholasville as their home and the place where they choose to raise their children. Chris has 4 children and one foster child, his wife Rhiannon Ardery has served as a teacher for 17 years in Jessamine County.
Chris is focused on the betterment of community and has worked throughout his adult life in various roles serving people and communities. Chris is a veteran having served 13 years with the Army National Guard, he volunteered for 2 years with the Red Cross traveling to give aid to the communities devastated by Hurricane Sandy in New York and those affected by the tornado in Washington, Illinois. Additionally Chris has helped many communities through missionary work both nationally and internationally including work after the devastating tornado in Joplin, Missouri. Within the city of Nicholasville, Chris has worked with the Community Emergency Response Team for three years and has completed many service projects through his membership with Catalyst Christian Church.
Chris’s heart lies with his family and his community and he desires to use his skills to help Nicholasville become the best city it can be. Chris’s focus is on the citizens of Nicholasville and their safety- not political agendas.
